Kim Renee Konski

October 24, 1955 - December 15, 2023

Kim Renee Konski (nee Monte) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 68 years old. Born at Lower Bucks Hospital, daughter of the late Lawrence and Doris (Schaffer) Monte, she was a lifelong Bristol Borough resident.   A 1973 graduate of Bristol High School and Bucks County Technical School, she went on to receive her associate degree in the Medical Assistant program at Bucks County Community College. She worked for Drs. Kominski and Kubacki in Levittown for 26 years, where she went on to meet the love of her life, Kevin Konski. The two married in November 1978, and spent 46 years together traveling, gardening, and raising two beautiful daughters.

A born nurturer, Kim’s daughters were her entire world.  Kimmy, as most called her, was also the best caregiver and “Nannie”.  She became the “adopted” grandmother to Michaela, Aiden, Kacie, Aubrey and Charlotte Winter, to whom she treasured and devoted herself.   She equally always put others needs before hers and loved and cared fiercely for her family and those closest to her. She was a talented chef and baker whose amazing food will be missed, especially during the holidays.

Kim is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Kevin Konski, and daughters, Kari Konski and Kristen Keller (Stephen). She will be sadly missed by her brother Lawrence Monte, Jr. (Karen).  She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, as well as her great nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her brothers Barry Schaffer (preceded in death by Joanne) and Paul Monte (Suzanne).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church of Bristol, 201 Mulberry Street, Bristol, Pa 19007.  Interment, private.  Friends may call Tuesday evening 7-9:00pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.  There will be no calling hours Wednesday morning. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First United Methodist Church, at the above address.

“Father, when I am afraid help me to trust you.”

Our beautiful Aunt Kimmy, we hope you knew how very much you were loved. You unwavering support and unconditional love has been the heartbeat of our family. Although our hearts are shattered now, we find solace in knowing you are no longer in pain. Rest in the peace you so richly deserve, although I know you will continue to watch over and protect us as you always have. I love you.
