Richard Lee Newman, Jr. passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Lower Bucks Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was 60. Born in Camden, New Jersey, he has been a Bristol resident for the past 22 years. Richard was employed as a Senior Project Manager in the retail construction industry. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Madison Marie. He will be fondly remembered by so many for his bold sense of humor, love for life, and passion in everything he did.
He is survived by his wife, Marie (Zaccaria) Newman, his children, Richard Lee Newman, III, Thomas Dyer (Tina), and Amanda Lee Newman (Alyssa), and his granddaughter, Madison Marie. He is also survived by his father, Richard Sr., and his siblings Joseph, Kathy and Karen, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Matthew, and his mother, Arlene.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with his family on Sunday, January 14, 2024, from 11am until 12 noon at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. A life celebration will follow at St. James Episcopal Parish Hall, 225 Walnut Street, Bristol, PA. Please feel free to wear Philadelphia Eagles attire.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a GoFundMe to assist with funeral expenses.
