James S. LaRosa

January 31, 1956 - February 25, 2024

 
 

James S. LaRosa passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Lower Bucks Hospital.  He was 68.  Born in Bristol, son of the late Samuel and Eleanor LaRosa, he was a lifelong Bristol Borough resident.  Jim was a graduate of Bristol High School, Class of 1972, and was self-employed as a General Contractor for many years.  He was a member of the Bristol Elks Lodge #970, an avid fisherman, and enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by his loving children, Samantha Guerra (Nicholas), Ashley LaRosa (Susan), and Vincent LaRosa (Melissa).  He is also survived by his brother, Charles LaRosa, his former wife, Donna LaRosa, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was also predeceased by his sister, Helen Gerome.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday, March 9, 2024, 12 noon at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.  Interment, private.  Friends may pay respects from 10:00am until time of Service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John Burg “Bottoms Up” Scholarship. Checks payable to B.P.O.E. 970 can be mailed to 95 Wood St., Bristol, PA 19007.

To the Larissa family. I lived across the street at 911 Green Ave. was a true friend to Sister Helen. A one of a kind woman. Charles taught me how to play pinochle we had a tight neighborhood back in the day until they all went to the service for Vietnam. Blessings to your family. Good memories.
