Philip C. Kaplan

March 14, 1955 - October 11, 2023

Philip C. Kaplan passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Chandler Hall surrounded by his loving family.  He was 68.  Born in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Howard and Lillian Kaplan, he was raised in Far Rockaway, Queens, New York, and graduated from Far Rockaway High School.  He has been a Levittown resident for the past 38 years.  Mr. Kaplan was employed at Amtrak for 38 years, where he worked his way through the ranks, retiring as an Assistant Superintendent, Train Movement in New York.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed reading, especially American history.  He also cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Evelyn (Pico) Kaplan, his two sons, Daniel Kaplan (Gillian Spencer) and Steven Kaplan and his wife Nicole, and his grandchildren, Charles and Lucy.  He is also survived by one sister, Nadine Parker, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to join Philip's family in celebrating his life on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 10am until 12 noon at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
