John Louis Paone

John Louis Paone passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 10, 2025 at The Villages at LifeQuest in Quakertown. He was 92 years old. Born and raised in Tullytown, Pennsylvania, son of the late Louis and Louise (nee Cattani) Paone, he resided in Wheatsheaf, then Bensalem for 30 years and Bristol for the past 20 years. He was employed for 30 years as a Crane Operator at U.S. Steel and after retirement, he worked as a School Bus Driver for the Bensalem School District. Mr. Paone was a very well-known athlete in the area, where he excelled in basketball and was inducted into the Pennsbury Hall of Fame. He was also an avid bowler until the age of 91, bowling several 300 games. He enjoyed singing and dancing, but especially cherished spending time with his family, never missing his children's, and later grandchildren's, activities.

Predeceased by his wife, Nancy (nee States) Paone; he is survived by his loving children, John Steven Paone and his wife, Theresa, Stephanie Kelly and her husband, Bob, and Marla Janik and her husband, Al. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Samantha Paone (Kristen), Jacquelyn Montemuro (Mike), John Steven Paone Jr. (Katie), Julia Kelly, Joey Kelly, Jacob Janik, and Emily Janik, and his great-grandchildren, Indie, Harlow, Lia, and Tessa. He is also survived by one sister, Philomena Quattrocchi; his longtime companion, Lillian Leight; one nephew, John Quattrocchi; and two nieces, Diane Gesualdi and Joanne Bassler. He was also predeceased by one sister, Loretta Tanner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday, February 22, 2025, 11am at the Wade Funeral Home, 102 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, private. Friends may call from 9:30-11am at the funeral home.
