Tonya Toombs Roselle

May 7, 1951 - July 2, 2023

 
 

The Sunday morning of July 2, 2023 Tonya Toombs Roselle was summoned to her heavenly resting place.

Tonya, the first born child of Christine and Freddie Toombs Sr. was Heaven sent in San Antonio, Texas at the Lackland Air Force Base. She graduated from John Bartram High School in Philadelphia and began her working life at the United States Post Office. She later worked at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Center. She was thrilled when she attained her certification as a medical assistant through the Hahnemann Nursing Program in Philadelphia, PA.

Tonya is survived by her younger sister, Jamilla, her brother Sidney and numerous relatives and friends.

Tonya has joined her treasured baby girl, Twana Marie, who died from SIDS many years ago. She has been welcomed into the heavenly gates by her father Freddie, her mother Christine, her brother Freddie Jr., her sister Jeannice and her two nephews Josiah and Christopher.

Tonya enjoyed glamorous clothes, dramatic themed activities in music, cabarets and travels here and abroad.

The Toombs Family extends their appreciation to Virtua Hospital Lumberton NJ and the Mount Holly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, New Jersey

We know that God knows our heart and bestows His love upon us all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Catholic Graveside Memorial, Reverend Father, for Tonya Toombs Roselle on Saturday, July 8, 2023 12 o’clock noon, at Saint Mark Catholic Cemetery, Bristol Pike, Bristol, Pennsylvania 19007.
