Steven Wade

Steven Wade "Big Steve" passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 15, 2021. He was 61. Born in Bristol, he was raised in Edgely and was a Bristol Borough resident for the past 33 years. Steve was a graduate of Bishop Egan High School, Class of 1977 and was a dedicated and loyal employee for over 43 years as Yard Manager at CBM Delaware Valley. A job he truly loved. Steve enjoyed working around his home and spending time with family and friends, cooking out by the pool. There was nothing that made him more proud than traveling with his wife to watch their sons play collegiate sports and tailgating. Big Steve was the best.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Cynthia (nee Rigby) Wade, and his loving sons, Steven Wade and Eric Wade. Also survived by his mother, Bernice Wade, his sisters, Patricia Melling and her husband, Robert, Maribeth Henry and her husband, Paul, and his brothers, John Wade and his wife, Barbara, Michael Wade and his wife, Kathleen, and Mark Wade and his wife, Michele, his mother-in-law, Neoma Rigby, and sisters-in-law, Robyn Buehler and her husband, Gary, and Melonie Overington and her husband, Dave, along with many nieces and nephews. Steve was predeceased by his father, John "Luke" Wade and father-in-law, Robert Rigby. He will be sadly missed by his co-workers and customers from CBM.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Thursday, April 22, 2021, 10:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, private. Friends may call Wednesday evening 6-9:00pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. There will be no calling hours before Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, at donate.lls.org.
