Steven Iwanyshyn

Steven Iwanyshyn passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 74 years of age.  He was Ukrainian, born in Landshut, Germany on June 26, 1946.  Steven was a very proud veteran of the U.S. Army, retired from a career as a vending route man and was a Bensalem resident.

Steven was a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, sibling and friend to many.  He is survived by his loving wife, Ricardina Iwanyshyn, his children, Wendy Iwanyshyn (Joseph Retuerto), and Steven Fernandez Iwanyshyn, two grandchildren, Emilia and Joel and his sisters, Jaroslava, Lucie, Ane, and Oksana.  He was predeceased by his father, Mykola, mother, Ksenia, and brother, Nicholas.

Steven was caring, funny, charming and lived life by his own terms.  His passions were spending time with his grandchildren, reading fervently, trying different cuisines, traveling the world, watching football, soccer and old Western movies, and he had an immeasurable love for animals.  He truly knew how to enjoy life and cherished and loved his family above all.  Steven will be missed profoundly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 24, 2021, 11:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment will take place at 1pm at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA.  Friends may call 9:30am to 10:45am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe St, Bristol Borough.
