Shirley S. Bitting

Shirley S. Bitting passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in Conway, SC. She was 90. Born in South Orange, NJ., daughter of the late James Ryan Smith and Mildred Martin Smith, she resided in Bucks County for many years prior to moving to South Carolina.

Predeceased by her husband, Harry L. Bitting, Jr. and her son, Kevin Bitting, she is survived by her children, Linda Chapin, Bonnie Palardy, Linc Bitting, Jim Bitting, Mark Bitting and Stephen Bitting. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and her siblings, Bud Smith, Gail Knight, Judy Sanner and Jay Smith.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, October 5, 2021,10:30am at St. Ignatius Church, 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley, Pa. Interment, St. Ignatius Cemetery. Friends may call 9:30-10:15am at the Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
