Samuel A. Conti

Samuel A. Conti passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Attleboro Nursing Home.  He was 94.  Born and raised in Bristol Borough, son of the late Alessandro "Frank" and Maria (Diodati) Conti, he was a Yardley resident for many years.  Mr. Conti was a graduate of Bristol High School, Class of 1943 and Rider College.  He was a proud US Navy Veteran, where he served as a Yeoman on the USS Bergen in the Pacific Theatre during WWII.  He received a Citation from US Secretary of the Navy and US Secretary of Defense, James Forrestal.  Mr. Conti retired as a senior controller from Univac Co.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and traveling with his wife.  Mr. Conti was a stained glass artist, a scuba instructor and very proud of his Italian heritage.   

Predeceased by his wife; Laura Mariani Conti, and his sister; Rachel Conti, he is survived by his brother; Domenic Conti and 2 sisters, Rosalie Gervasio and Helen Conti.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews; Gerald Gervasio, Alex Gervasio, MaryBeth Conti, Donna Gervasio-Holub, Julianne Conti, Patricia Napoli, Lisa Marie Winters and Carmen Gervasio along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, a Funeral Mass and Interment will be held privately under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mark/St. Ann Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007, would be appreciated.
