Ryan Joseph McCloskey of Bristol Borough passed away suddenly on Monday December 14, 2020. He was 35 years old.

He was the devoted father of Ava and Damien McCloskey.

Born in Bristol Borough, he was the son of Kathleen (Fallon) McCloskey and Joseph McCloskey, and loving brother of Jamie, Joseph and Daniel McCloskey. He was also a caring nephew, cousin and friend. Ryan attended Bristol Jr.-Sr. High School and completed his technical HVAC training at Pennco Tech.

Ryan poured his heart and labor into creative design flooring throughout his career. He was recently a dedicated team member at Home Depot in Whitehall, PA. He took great pride in his work and was in the process of starting his own concrete and flooring business. Ryan loved baking cakes and cookies. The man lived off of milk and cookies. He was an artist, poet, his love for music was overwhelming and he recently expressed his passion through the piano. He would sing through his best and worst days, we can still hear you.

It is difficult to put into words what kind of strength, talent, hard work, dedication, perseverance, care and love he put into endeavors like work, family and being a father, however these are just some of the characteristics that embody what a truly special person he was. A kind, thoughtful and giving soul whose light always radiated, It is a special gift that Ryan was able to touch so many people.

His children were most important to him. They loved taking trips to the city to spend time with his sister, Jamie, to enjoy Philly cheesesteaks, sunsets and city life. Ryan was very close to his older brother, Joseph, they were true Irish twins and the best of friends beginning to end. They were a tag team. Ryan was a protector and friend to his younger brother, Daniel. Ryan loved and was loved by so many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
