Robert FX Doerr, Jr.

Robert FX Doerr, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at St. John Neumann Nursing Home. He was 73. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Robert Sr. and Anne Doerr, he has been a Bristol Borough resident for the past 26 years. Robert was a retired Police Officer with the Philadelphia Police Department. After retirement, he was a district manager for the Philadelphia Inquirer and later worked at Ann's Choice in Warminster. He was an avid fan of Notre Dame football and all Philadelphia Sports Teams. Robert loved to trravel and go on cruises. He was a member of the AOH, Michael Doughtery Div. 1, Bristol.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Denise (nee Singer) Doerr, 2 sons, Christopher Doerr and his wife, Sue and Robert Doerr, III and his wife, Tracy and 1 daughter, Katherine Nisman. He is also survived by his brothers, Jack Doerr (Lynn), Francis Doerr (Ronnie), and Joseph Doerr, his sisters, Anne Marie "Onnie" Aigeldinger and Liz Coghlin (William), his stepsons, Sean Fallon, Kevin Fallon (Megan), Michael Fallon (Stephanie), Daniel Fallon and their families along with many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sister, Mary "Mame" Nowasad and his brother, Henry Doerr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service with full military honors on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, 10:30am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pa 18940. Please arrive at Cemetery by 10:15am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Ks66675-8517. Arrangements are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
