Paul J. Marchese, Sr.

April 16, 1943 - February 2, 2023

Paul J. Marchese, Sr., resident of Fairless Hills passed away February 2, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 16, 1943 and graduated from Bishop Egan 1961. Paul enjoyed photography and playing the accordion and keyboard. He was the owner of J.P. Marchese Company in Bristol Borough where he resided for 75 years. He had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Marchese and his son, Anthony Marchese. He was a devoted husband for 58 years to his wife, Dolores (Gegenheimer) Marchese and was a loving father of Paul J. Marchese Jr. (Susan) and Denise Dougherty (Joseph). Paul will be missed by many including his granddaughters, Melissa, Lauren, Emily, and Kelli, his sisters, Vernon (Sabonis) and Sharon Marchese, and many nieces and nephews.

Paul’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 9am until his Funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe St., Bristol, PA. Interment will be in St. Mark’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to America Needs Fatima (americaneedsfatima.org), St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org), and St. Mark Church, Bristol, PA.
