Paul E. Slotilick, Jr.
Paul E. Slotilick passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021 in his home following a long period of declining health. Born on November 17, 1942 in Philadelphia to the late Paul and Helen Schweibinz Slotilick. He grew up in Philadelphia before moving to Croydon, Pa, where he lived for over 44 years. Paul was a skilled craftsman and proud longtime member of Glaziers local 252. A lover of nature and avid hunter who took great pride in his home and beautiful garden. Partaking in many hunting trips across the country and Canada, some of his favorite memories were building his hunting cabin in Tioga County with his beloved father. His greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his four grandsons who he loved more than anything. Cruises to the Caribbean and annual trips to Pier 4 in Somers Point were special times for him.
He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia who passed in August. He is survived by his daughters; Tracie (Mark) Samson and Niccole Smith. He will be forever missed by his grandsons; Kalyb Smith, Tanner Smith, Gavin Samson and Braydon Samson. Thank you to his caregivers Emmanuel and John from Brightstar Home Care and a heartfelt thank you to Brunilda (Bernie) an angel who came in and cared for him with special kindness at the end of his life. A special thank you to his longtime neighbor Billy Kocher who looked over his home and helped in so many ways. Paul was a longtime friend of Bill W. for over 48 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday, June 11, 2021, from 6 to 8 pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to National Wildlife Federation at www.nwf.org We will forever miss you but are grateful that you are no longer in pain and suffering. Rest easy sweet Daddy we will be fine.
