Patricia R. Bercute
February 2, 1947 - September 30, 2023
Patricia R. Bercute passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 76. Born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Edward and Marie Hoopes, she was a Croydon resident for the past 19 years. Patricia was employed as a building aide at Neshaminy HIgh School for 22 years and also worked at the Lower Southampton Police Station and as a home health care aide.
Wife of the late Richard Bercute, she is survived by her children, Richard Bercute, Corylyn Bercute, and Audrey Lamb and her husband, Tim. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Riley, Vivienne, Timothy, Juliette, Matthew and Elizabeth. She is also survived by her siblings, Edward Hoopes, Kathleen Quinn, John Hoopes, her twin, Robert Hoopes and Marie Hendricks along with countless nieces and nephews. Patricia was also predeceased by her sister, Alice Whitney.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 14, 2023, 11:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Croydon, Pa. Interment, private. Friends may call 9:30-11:00am at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA at https://secure.aspca.org/donate/donate or the American Cancer Society at https://donate.cancer.org/. Arrangements are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.

Patty was a person whose heart was always bursting with love for family, friends, animals and birds. Her kind and loving spirit will live on in those whom she loved. Today is St. Francis of Assissi feast day. Very fitting. I can still hear her say ... don't buy the cheap bird seeds. The birds won't eat it!!!! Lol Sweet lady! Always made me laugh!
