Nathaniel Smith passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at his home in Feasterville, PA. He was 43 years old.

Nate lived a full life as a father, husband, son, brother, nephew, employer and friend. To all that had the pleasure of knowing him, he was smart, fun loving, and had a unique sense of humor.

Nathanial Smith was born in Langhorne, PA on March 29, 1977. He was raised in Fallsington, PA. Nate was a graduate of Pennsbury High School, class of 1995, where he played varsity football and basketball. He also made time to play bass guitar with his friends and well known for his devout affection for The Doors and The Beatles. After high school Nate attended Bucks County Community College. During that time, he also tried a variety of career ideas but found his calling. Nate learned and mastered the trade of masonry and concrete through the leadership and guidance of his Uncle Pat Flaherty.

Nate created and built his own business. He was an admirable employer, boss, and friend to his team. Nate and his wife Erica were excited to be parents to three beautiful children. Nate took on the role of father and provider with great pride and dedication. His spare time was spent coaching and cheering his three beautiful children in all their sporting endeavors.

Nate’s happinest times were spent with his wife and children on the Delaware River kayaking and fishing. Nate was also a craftsman at his own house, his children and many of the children in the neighborhood experienced fun in the fantastic and expansive treehouses he constructed in their backyard. Nate also endlessly enjoyed playing horseshoes and ping pong with anyone up for a game. Every spring he faithfully filled the family yard with a bountiful vegetable garden. But most importantly Nate simply enjoyed brightening anyone’s mood near him and offering an inappropriate joke that would make anyone laugh.

Nathaniel is survived by his loving wife, Erica, his children, Avery Joseph, Pearl Elizabeth, and Jude Anthony, his parents, Franklin S. and Mary Beth (nee Flaherty) Smith, his brother, Benjamin Smith and wife Jennifer, their children, Rownan and Kaegan. Also, his father and mother in-law, Anthony Wiegner and Lorrie Gadsby, sister-in-law, Ashley Wiegner and her husband, Taylor Firman and their daughter, Mary Gadsby, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. And of course, his dutiful and faithful canine companion Doc.
