Nancy Hartman
Nancy Hartman passed away on January 28th at St Mary's Hospital in Langhorne PA after a valiant battle with COPD. She was born to Edna and Frank Rester on Sept. 27th, 1952 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She married her late husband Thomas Hartman on December 02, 1972. She raised her family in Bristol, Pennsylvania. After Thomas’ passing she spent many years living with her daughter, granddaughter, and their cat; Nancy, Nicole and Chance Daly.
She was always an avid reader and even after she could no longer read physical books due to her eyesight, her passion for reading persevered through the use of audiobooks. Throughout her life she and her husband had traveled throughout the carribean, and tried many wonderful experiences such as swimming with the dolphins.
She was a champion bowler in her league. She used to go out with her family and friends on fishing trips and to sing karaoke. While she had suffered from COPD for years she never let it stop her from experiencing life and was dancing in the kitchen with family a week before her
passing.
Nancy is survived by her brother Martin Rester, his wife Lillian, son Martin Hartman, daughter Nancy Daly, and her many grandchildren Chelsea, Justin, Nicole, Robert, and Kathleen.
She was always there for her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wade Funeral home to offset the cost of her passing.
