Michael Metz

Michael Metz passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.  He was 60. Born in Bristol, he was a lifelong Levittown resident. Dedicated employee of Simon & Schuster for 41 years, most recently as the Mailroom Facilities Supervisor.  Michael enjoyed life to the fullest, loved spending time with his family and friends and his grandson's baseball family.  He was a devoted Phillies and Eagles fan.  Michael was very kind and generous to everyone he met.  He was a devoted dad and pop pop.

He is survived by his loving wife, Denise Prescavage Metz, his son, Michael, Jr., his grandson, Mikey and fur friend, Buddy.  He is also survived by his father, Philip Metz, Sr., his brothers, Philip (Debra), David (Suzanne) and Kevin (Debra) and many special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  Michael was predeceased by his mother, Joan Tomlinson Metz.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Friday, December 16, 2022, 11:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.  Friends may call 9:30am until time of Service.  In lieu of flowers, please honor Michael's memory by doing a kind act or gesture for someone this holiday season.
