Michael F. DeLisa

Michael F. DeLisa passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at his home. He was 61. Born in Bristol, son of the late Joseph and Marion (nee Chewing) DeLisa, he was raised in Delran, NJ and spent most of his life in Bristol prior to moving to Bensalem 5 years ago. Mr. DeLisa was employed in Custodial Maintenance for the Bensalem School District since 2008 and prior to that worked as a forklift operator at Simon & Schuster for 33 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a sport which he instilled in his 2 sons. Mr. DeLisa played in several men's softball leagues and never missed a practice or a game of his son's sporting events. He loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed.

He was the devoted father to his sons, Michael DeLisa (Michele) and Tony DeLisa (Christina) and his only grand-daughter, whom he loved dearly, Adelia DeLisa. Also survived by his brother, Joseph DeLisa, sisters, Lynette Manto, JoAnn Alvarez and Victoria Thomas DeLisa along with several nieces and nephews. He was predecesed by his brother, Pepe DeLisa.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 9-10:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, St. Mark Cemetery.
