Marisol Acevedo
September 20, 1969 - January 14, 2025
Marisol Acevedo passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Albert Einstein Hospital, Philadelphia. She was 55 years old. Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, she was a Bristol resident for many years and has resided in Levittown for the past 8 years. Marisol was employed for 25 years as a School Bus Driver for the Bristol Township School District. She enjoyed playing dominoes, dancing, and watching Asian movies on Netflix, but most especially cherished time spent with her family and friends.
Daughter of the late Jose Rivera, she is survived by her husband, Juan Acevedo; her children, Alyssa Acevedo (Angel Rivera) and Fernando Acevedo; and her four grandchildren, Mariyah, Noah, Gabriel, and Angel Jr. She is also survived by her mother, Elisa Rivera. Marisol leaves behind her sister, Glorivee Delgado (Alexander); her brother, Jose Rivera (Celyina), her sister, Waleska Rodriguez (Edwardo Rodriguez); along with several other siblings. She will also be sadly missed by her best friend, Dee Ruiz (Luis); along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 25, 2025, 11am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, St. Mark Cemetery. Friends may pay respects on Saturday morning from 8:30-10:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
