Marie Ellen Swistak
Marie Ellen Swistak of Levittown, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. She was 92 years old.
Born on a farm in Yardley, she graduated from Cathedral High School, in Trenton N.J. Marie also graduated from the Wilton School of Cake Decorating in Chicago. She created many wedding cakes for married couples, and was well known for her homemade cakes, wedding cakes, and sticky buns. Her generosity and giving spirit caused many smiles.
A member of St. Mark's Catholic church in Bristol, she worked as an Activities Director for the Twining Village, volunteered at the Delaware Valley Veterans Home in Philadelphia, and was actively involved in the Knowles-Doyle Unit Post 317, American Legion Women's Auxillary, in Yardley.
Wife of the late Walter Swistak, she is survived by her son Bryan and his wife Jill, grandsons Timothy, Keith, Philip with his wife Katrina, and will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and faithful friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 11:00AM at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Friends may call 10:00AM-11:00AM in Church. Interment was held privately.
