Maria Raccagno passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 70. Born and raised in Bristol, daughter of the late Gasper and Margaret Salerno, she has been a resident of the Edgely section of Bristol Township for the past 54 years. Maria worked at the family owned Bristol Diner with her father, Gasper "Tony" Salerno. She also worked for Pomeroy's and Boscov's Department Stores and at the Bristol Bridal Center. Maria was a drum majorette at Bristol High School with her childhood friend, Nanette Fisher She loved to go to yard sales and flea markets and buy items that she could redo into works of art, many of which can be found in her home. Maria never sold anything but would rather give it to her family and friends. She had a heart of gold and will always be remembered for her love of life and family. I am sure there's a special place for her in Heaven.

Maria will be sadly missed by her husband of 52 years, Anthony Felice Raccagno, her son, Anthony Raccagno, her daughter, Felicia Elliott and her grandchildren, Antonio, Christopher, Sophia and Jacob. She is also survived by her brothers, Nicola and Joseph.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Thursday, June 3, 2021, 11:00am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, St. Mark Cemetery. Friends may call 9-11:00am at the Funeral Home.
