Marguerite L. Martin

Marguerite L. Martin passed away on January 28, 2022 at Evergreen Hospice. She was 95. Born on March 1, 1926 in Sunflower, Mississippi, daughter of the late Earl and Cordia Delia Davis.

Marguerite had been a resident of Woodinville, WA since 1984 and previously resided in Croydon, PA for 25 years.

Marguerite was an electronic assembler at Aydin Vector in Newtown, PA for15 years, and 7 years at Interpoint in Kirkland, WA before retiring in 1992.

Marguerite is well known for love of her family, her infinite wisdom, and many talents, including a fabulous meal every day for 8 children, baking (that cheesecake!), her renowned laughter at backyard picnics, not to mention her sewing skills and beautiful quilts, along with her love of gardening, reading and puzzles.

She is a beloved mother, survived by six of her eight children: Margarita "Vicky" Gibson (Paul), Jeffrey Martin (Frances), Barry Martin, Cheryl Litz (George), Denise Zalusky (Peter), and Deborah Huffnagle (Steven), and many beloved grandchildren (23), great grandchildren (41) and great great grandchildren (2).

She is predeceased by her husband, Victor, her sons, Richard and Stephen, and grandsons, Peter and Maxwell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Monday, February 21, 2022, 11:00am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. Friends may call 10:00am until time of Memorial Service.
