Margaret M. Campbell passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 91. Born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Edward and Erna Martin, she was a Croydon resident for most of her life. Mrs. Campbell was a devoted member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, and loved gardening, boating, and fishing. She also enjoyed traveling in her camper with her husband, making trips from Key West to Alaska.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry T. Campbell Jr., and her siblings, Rosie, Bella, Erna, and Edward.
She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Jerry T. Campbell Sr., and her children, Patricia Slater (Tammy Kramer) and Richard G. Campbell Sr. (Jeannine). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Jerry T. Campbell III, Amy Campanara, Brian Campbell, Christina DeLisa (Tony), Richard Campbell Jr. (Malisa Monachelli), Jamie Campbell (Zane Wilde), Francis Slater (Lynn Anderson), and Kelliann Slater (Pawel Voinea), along with 19 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 9:30-10:45am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Croydon, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11am. Interment, St. Mark Cemetery.
