Margaret A. Dacko

Margaret A. Dacko passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Newtown, PA surrounded by her loving family. She was 94. Born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Gustav and Anna Grunau, she was a longtime Levittown resident prior to moving in with her daughter six years ago. Mrs. Dacko was employed as a secretary at Yale & Towne Manufacturing. She also worked for many years at Triangle Surgical Associates. She enjoyed traveling, and instilled her love for travel in all of her family. She loved animals and enjoyed walking her dogs in the park, especially her adopted Greyhound and German Shepherd. She also had a cat Eve, who was her loving companion until the end. Mrs. Dacko was a devout Catholic and cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving children, Susan Wetterhall and her husband Gary, Karen Slager and her husband Jerry, and Mike Dacko. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Erik Wetterhall, Adam Slager and his wife Anna, Justin Wetterhall and his wife Kate, Julie Smith and her husband Kent, and Mikayla Dacko, as well as her great-grandchildren, Owen, Claire, Rose, Ethan, Matthew, Ben, Emily, and Ruby. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Grunau, and his wife Sylvia, and her loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held privately under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Greyhound Angels Adoption of New Jersey.
