Lisa A. Taylor
Lisa A. Taylor passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at her home in Bensalem, Pa. She was 59. Born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Joseph H. and Rose M. (nee Meder) Taylor, she was raised in Philadelphia and spent many years in Florida before moving back to Lower Bucks several years ago. She was a member of St. Martin of Tours Church in Philadelphia, St. Sebastian Church, while in Florida, and St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Croydon. Lisa was also a member of New Friends, a club for mentally challenged adults. She loved dancing, music and bowling. Lisa's last five years were spent being well cared for in a group home run by the Developmental Disabilities Program, run by the Salvation Army and their caring staff.
She is survived by her siblings, Rose DeMarchis (Jerome), Joseph M. Taylor (Maureen), John R. Taylor (Eveline), Kathleen Lego (Ronald), Janice Birney (Stephen), Lynne Turner (Edmund) and Michael Taylor (Bernadette) along with 15 nieces and nephews, 20 great-nieces and great-nephews and 1 great-great nephew. She was also predeceased by her cousin, Deborah King Gorniak and her aunt and uncles, Joseph and Dolores King and John Meder.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, 11:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Croydon. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia. Friends may call Wednesday morning 9:30-11:00am at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army Developmental Disabilities Program, 701 N. Broad Str., Philadelphia, Pa 19123 or Our Lady of Confidence Day School, 314 Easton Rd, Willow Grove, Pa 19090. Arrangements are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
