Linda M. Bitting

January 28, 1953 - February 12, 2025

Linda M. Bitting passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, after a long battle with dementia. She was surrounded by her loving family, she was 72 years old. Born in Asbury Park, NJ she was a Bucks County resident for most of her life. Linda initially was a stay at home mom raising three children. She entered the workforce in the food industry in which she remained for many years. Later in life she took a chance on a dream and followed her passion for home decorating.  She would eventually open a home decor store in Newtown, PA  called "All About Home".  She branched out and started doing some interior design, home & event staging, window treatments and home organization.  She had a wonderful eye and was so incredibly talented. She enjoyed music, gardening and decorating for the holidays, which have not been the same since this disease took her talents from her.  She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Predeceased by her son, Jason Stephen Bannon, her father, Harry Lincoln Bitting, Jr., her mother, Shirley Smith Bitting, and her brother, Kevin N. Bitting; she is survived by her daughter, Lisa Aguiar (Rodney), her son, Robert F. Bannon Jr. (Amy), and her grandchildren, Arielle Warner Romeo (Lindsay), Maria Aguiar (Elias), Jason Aguiar, Madelyn Bannon, R. Christopher Bannon, and Connor Bannon. She is also survived by her siblings, Bonnie A. Palardy, Harry Lincoln Bitting, III (Wendy), James L. Bitting (Serge), Mark S. Bitting (Manuela), and Stephen B. Bitting (Caroline), along with many nieces and nephews.

I am going to miss my oldest sister! She was the rock of the family. Always was there to help all her brothers and her sister! The baby of the family will surely miss her! God Bless Linda!

I’ve been trying to think of the perfect thing to say but the only perfect thing it seems, is if you were back with you and your family. I can’t begin to tell you how much I miss you. How I wish that I could call and hear your voice, hear your distinct way of saying things. You became a big part of my life when I met Kevin, he used to mention you quite often. After Kevin left us, you were there for me like no other. I will be eternally grateful to you and your family for taking me in and showing me the importance of family and friendship. I am so proud to have been part of your life and I promise to continue to cherish my memories of you, even as time goes by. It’s tough and life won't be the same without you, but I'll continue to think about you often, look forward to seeing you again, and love you so much. Thanks a million for everything, and for living your life the way we all should...
