My very heartfelt condolences to Erin, Fiona, Sherry and the rest of the VanCleves. I still can’t believe Lance isn’t going to be stopping by on his way to Lowe’s or maybe going for a bike ride with us this weekend. No more listening to The Wall in its entirety sitting by the fire on a random winter day. My memories of Lance will be good ones, his generosity, his friendship. Mark and I will miss Lance always.

My condolences to the VanCleve’s and family. Lance was solid gentleman. Working with Lance for the last 15 years we shared some great times at work and an occasional Happy Hour or work stay during inclement weather events. He always brought laughter to the room or conversation. He loved his family and spoke great words about everyone. I will miss seeing him strolling around Bristol on the weekend and catching up for beer.

One of the Edgely boys. I will miss seeing him helping his mom at her home. Sending my thoughts and prayers to Erin, Fiona, Sherry and all of Van Cleve. RIP Lance

I can't honestly say I have been a close friend with Lance the past few decades but he was fixture in my teens and early 20's hanging out with the Edgely gang either having a couple (several?) beers somewhere, playing hoops with him and Lain (man this is the wayback machine!) or bumping into him at Eagles tailgates. Lance was always in a good and talkative mood and a pleasure to be around. As some of you may know my good friend Mike Kinslow (lived right around the corner on Riverview) passed from the same awful disease eight years ago so this hits even a little harder. I apologize to Lance's family as I am out of town this week but would like to offer my most sincere condolences in this forum. Maybe our Birds can bring it home for Lance this season!!

My heart felt prayers and blessings go out to my co-workers family (The Vancleve's). Lance and I shared many days conversing our love for the eagles and phillies sport teams. Lance was very supportive of me during the lost of my younger son, who he met during many visits to the job during there younger years and also supported me and my sons thru the different sporting event they were involved in growing up. And I thank you his parents for installing such compassion in him. My deepest sympathy during this difficult time.

My family and I, dogs included, will miss you tremendously. I’ve known you all my life. Can’t believe I won’t see you stop by the house again to check in or to share a drink or hang out with us at a patio gathering, listening to the better tunes of our time. Seriously saddens me. Doesn’t seem real. But it’s okay to go when you have to. Sometimes we don’t get a choice. I’ve the utmost faith that you’re in a great place, contently waiting for loved ones and friends to eventually reunite with you. I’ll miss you a lot, Lance, my dad’s best friend and good friend to our family. Rock on, wherever you may be.

With great Love,
The Younger Mark T. and the rest of us.

Paul and I offer out sincerest condolences to the entire family.
We met Lance through our friends Debbie and Mark over 10 years ago and he was larger than life. He’s always been around everywhere we went, there was Lance. We would always ask about Fiona and he just gushed about how proud he is of her and we loved to listen. We will miss that booming voice and that big heart at the parties and dinners and out in town.

I never met Lance, but I feel I like I have known him all my life. Sonya Polk and I grew up together, and I always heard stories about her cousin Lance. His mom, his wife and daughter are all in my thoughts and prayers. This loss is cruel. No mom should lose her child.
