Joseph Walter Simone

Joseph Walter Simone passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024 in Cape Coral, Florida, with his loving wife by his side. He was 77 years old. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Walter Joseph and Antoinette (nee Ferraiolo) Doda, he lived most of his life in the Philadelphia area prior to moving to Brigantine, New Jersey, and later to Florida. Joseph was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was an entrepreneur, and spent over 20 years as a Radio Disc Jockey. He was an author of children's books, enjoyed playing cards, watching Eagles games, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria (nee Bersani) Simone; his children, Sherry Simone (Shawn), Kevin Aicher (Maria), and James Castle; his granddaughter, Kaitlyn Calamia (John); and his great-granddaughters, Mila Rose and Kora Jo. He is also survived by his in-laws, whom he loved very much, Michelle Craig (Jim) and Jane Marie Agabiti (Bernard); along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother, John E. Ciocca.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, 11am at St. Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Friends may call from 10-11:00am at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Children's Philadelphia or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
