Joseph Silva
January 7, 1958 - January 3, 2024
Joseph Silva passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida. He was 65. Born in Philadelphia, he was a Bucks County resident all of his life. Joe was the President of Specialty Support Systems in Levittown for the past 38 years. He was an avid boater and fisherman, and was a member of Bucks Moose Lodge #1169, Lacy Elks #2518, and the Holiday Beach Club in Waretown, NJ.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Phyllis (Lancieri) Silva, his stepson, Patrick Moffit (Dawn), and his grandchildren, Bradley Scott, Ryan Moffit, and Kevin Moffit. He is also survived by his parents, Joseph and Palmira (DeSilva) Silva, two sisters, Deborah Brandimarte and Elaine Nichterlein (John), his nephew, Michael Brandimarte (Liz), his niece, Sara Nichterlein, along with one great-niece and two great-nephews. He was predeceased by his stepson, Sean Moffit.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Monday, January 15, 2024, 10am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown. Interment, Ewing Church Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Friends may call Sunday evening, 6-8pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough, and Monday morning, 9-9:45am at St. Michael the Archangel Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
