Joseph P. Carrello
Joseph P. Carrello passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Jeanes Hospital, Philadelphia. He was 72. Born in South Philadelphia, the first son of the late Joseph and Rosaria (Sava) Carrello, he was a Philadelphia resident most of his life prior to moving to Bristol Borough 3 years ago. Joe Carrello was a CPA for more than 50 years. A job he excelled at and loved because of the wonderful people he became friends with over the years. He was an avid and enthusiastic car collector known as the Jagman. He loved spending time with family and friends enjoying all Philadelphia sports teams, music and theater, fishing and boating at the Jersey Shore, but most especially cherished the relaxing time spent with his wife, children and grandson.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Arlene E. (Ward) Carrello, his daughter, Angela Bocchi and her husband, Peter, his son Joseph P. Carrello, Jr., and his beloved grandson, Joseph P. Carrello, III (JP). Also survived by 1 sister, Emily Lumm, 2 brothers, Mario Carrello and Richard Carrello, his brother-in-law Chuck Ward, sister-in-law Marcia Kuntz, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Monday, January 4, 2021, 11:00am at St. Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, private. Friends may call 9:30am until time of Mass at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Ave., Phila., Pa 19111 or www.foxchase.org. Arrangements are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
