Joseph F. Markawicz passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at St. Mary Medical Center. He was 78. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Joseph and Stella Markawicz, he was a lifelong Croydon resident. He was employed as a machinist at Schutte and Koerting and had an Associates Degree in Business. Joe was a book worm who also enjoyed working with his hands, woodworking and creating. He had a passion to be at any peace of mind park for a walk and to people watch. His absolute pride was his family.

He is survived by his children, Kimberly Pierson, Tammy Markawicz (Garth Weaver) and Joseph W. Markawicz (Kelliann), his 6 grandchildren, Ricky, Krista, Stephanie, Natalie, Kaitlyn and Rayven, and his 6 great-grandchildren, Lucas, Brennan, Tristan, Wilson, Noah and Rosalinda. Also survived by 1 brother, Ron Markawicz (Cookie), 1 sister, Lori Luber and his former wife, Cheryl Markawicz.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 9-10:30am on Monday, August 1, 2022 at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment will follow at 11:30am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pa.
