Joseph A. Kulak

Joseph A. Kulak, 75, of Levittown, Pa., died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006 at Lower Bucks Hosp., Bristol Twp. Born in Gallitzin, Pa., he has been a Levittown resident since 1964. Mr. Kulak was a 1948 graduate of Gallitzin High School, was a U.S. Army Veteran, drafted at 21, and served in the Korean War, 3rd Div., 15th Infintry, of which he was honored with the Korean Service Medal with 3 bronze stars. Prior to his 28 years of employment at U.S. Steel, Fairless Works, he was employed at Coal and Coke Corp., and owned J.M. Motors, Car Dealership, both in Gallitzin. Mr. Kulak was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, the VFW, John F. Billington Post, Levittown, the Catholic War Veterans of Altoona, Pa., and the PNA Polish Club, Slovish Club, American Legion of Gallitzin and the VFWs, of Gallitzin and Johnstown.

Son of the late Joseph Peter and Stella (nee Jawor) Kulak, he is survived by his wife, Helena (nee Deomonte) Kulak, his children, Joseph A. Kulak and his wife, Renae, and Denise M. Serfass and her husband, S. Joseph, all of Fairless Hills, Pa., 2 grandchildren, Emilia and Carter Kulak, and 2 sisters, Veronica Holmberg of Coupon, Pa. and Patricia Kolarczyk of Gallitzin along with many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Monday, Jan. 30, 2006, 10:00am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday evening 7-9:00pm and Monday morning 8:30-9:15am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Str., Bristol Boro.
