John Walter Baradziej

John Walter Baradziej was born in West Hazleton on June 27, 1937. He passed away suddenly on Friday, February 18, 2022.

Better known as Jack to his family and friends, he attended West Hazleton High School, graduating in 1954. Jack spent 4 years in the United States Air Force before attending Penn State University from which he graduated in 1962. He received his Masters Degree from Temple University and taught school in the Bristol Township School District from 1962-1993.

His teaching continued outside the classroom as a coach in various sports. He was also a basketball referee and a swimming official. Jack was active in the Republican Party in Bristol Township.

He is survived by his wife, Connie, his three children Thomas (Krista), John (Donna), and Susan (Michael) and eight grandchildren: Alexander, Kelly, Michelle, and Mark Baradziej and Mitchell, Adam, Stephen and Stacy Reinecker. He is also survived by his sister, Marie and brother-in-law, John Renitsky and many nieces and nephews.

Twelve years ago, Jack suffered a traumatic brain injury which limited his socializing - for which he was well-known. Singing, laughing, and entertaining others was his strong suit. He will be greatly missed, not only by his family, but also by the many friends he made over the years.
