John Thomas Colligon, Sr.
John Thomas Colligon, Sr. passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 at his home, with his loving family and his dog, Bella. He was 76. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Anthony and Rose Colligon, he has been a Bristol Borough resident for over 40 years. John worked at U.S. Steel Fairless Works for 34 years as a pipefitter / welder. Once retired, he spent time working at Robaire Company, Inc. He was an avid collector of many things and enjoyed sharing his passions with his grandkids. He enjoyed his garden and also enjoyed talking about that too! John was a loving husband and father to his children. He had a unique way of taking opportunities to teach life lessons to his family. (He actually loved to chat with anyone who would listen, too!)
John is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Constance "Connie" Colligon, his children, John Colligon, Jr. (Jennifer), Michele Colligon (Brian Nelson), and Robert Colligon (Theresa), his grandchildren, Taylor Farrell (Donny), Jared Colligon, Kevin Colligon, and Brendan Colligon and his loving dog, Bella. He is also survived by his siblings, Joan Vassallo, Anthony Colligon (Louise), Rosemary Gesnaker, Donna Lock (Daniel), and Cathy McDevitt (Joe) and was Uncle John to many nieces and nephews (both through blood and friendship). He was predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Alfonso Vassallo and Robert Gesnaker.
Funeral Services will be held privately under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough. www.wadefh.com In lieu of flowers, donations to Kodi's Club Rescue at kodisclub.org would be appreciated.
