John P. Bley, Sr.

John P. Bley, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at Jefferson Bucks Hospital. He was 66 years old. Born in Bristol, son of the late Julian, Sr. and Catherine (nee Crossan) Bley, he was raised in Bristol Borough, graduated from Bristol High School, Class of 1976, and was a Levittown resident for the past 35 years. John was employed as a HVAC Technician for Eggert Fuels, Meenan Oil Company, and most recently, owned his own HVAC business. He was a firefighter at Goodwill Hose Company No. 3 Station 52 for many years. He enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball in both Bristol Borough and Levittown Eastern. John also enjoyed skiing trips with Pam and fishing when he had the chance.

Husband of the late Pamela Ann Bley, he is survived by his three sons, Shawn Moran, John P. Bley, Jr., and his wife Jaime, and Nicholas Bley, and his girlfriend, Candice, and his grandchildren, Christopher, Parker, and Haley. He is also survived by two sisters, Joanne Grisolia (the late Philip) and Jackie Bley, his brother, Joseph Bley, and his wife Andrea, and two sisters-in-law, Mary Bley and Kathy Bley, along with several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Edward Bley and Julian Bley, Jr., and one sister, Nina Bley.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, 11am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, St. Mark Cemetery. Friends may call Monday evening, 7-9:00pm and Tuesday morning, 9:30-10:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.

John was not only a great uncle, he was also my godfather. He had to be one of the funniest men in the family. Always was there with a shoulder to lean on and knew how to make you laugh. He reminded me more of my own dad than anyone else in the family. He will greatly be missed and will most likely be enjoying planning tricks on everyone down here with his brother.
