John J. Whyno, Jr.
March 12, 1931 – July 7, 2023
John J. Whyno, Jr. (Squiggy) went home to be with his loving wife “Susie” on Friday, July 7, 2023.
A lifelong Bristol resident, he was employed by the Borough Water Department for over 30 years and was also a well-known bartender. He was a member of St Ann’s church for 92 years. He loved sports, playing and coaching softball in his younger years, and watching his Phillies and Eagles with his family throughout the rest of his life.
Everyone knew and loved Squiggy, his smile lit up the room. Honest, generous, and hardworking, he lived by example for his children and grandchildren. A simple man, his faith and his family’s happiness meant the world to him.
Preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Pauline, his son John, and daughter Elizabeth. Survived by his children Victoria Byer, Sandy Perkins (Walter) and Kelly Parks (Joseph). Grandchildren Gina, Joey (Vicky), Tevian, John, and Mia. Great grandchildren Addie and Ella Mae.
Thank you Dad for your endless loving care for mom, your smiles and funny stories, and the forever gift of faith. “Pop-Pop” will be sadly missed by his family and countless beloved friends.
Funeral Services will be held privately under the direction of the Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.

I never did have the opportunity to meet John, however, I heard many nice stories from my daughter Vicky, and Joey. John touched many lives and was loved by many. He is now at peace and resting.
