John F. Kalinowski, Jr.
John F. “Boris” Kalinowski, Jr. passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 74. Born in Asheville, NC, son of the late John F., Sr. and Frances Pearl Kalinowski, he was raised in Pittsburgh, PA and has been a Bristol Borough resident for the past 51 years. John retired from Pennsbury High School, where he worked for many years as a teacher and a coach. He was an avid Steelers fan, and a masterful gardener. He cherished his time spent with his family, most especially watching his grandsons play sports.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Beverly (née Breslin) Kalinowski, his 2 sons, John Kalinowski and his wife, Jessica and Mark Kalinowski and his wife, Erica and his 2 grandsons, Jack and Jake. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Stanley and Steven Kalinowski, 4 sisters, Irene Palladino , Kathy Swierczyk and her husband, Edward, Mary Faltovich, and Anna Jackson and her husband, Bill along with many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother, Michael Kalinowski.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 5, 2021, 11:00am at St Mark Church. Inurnment will follow in St. Mark Church Columbarium. Friends may call 10-11:00am at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Penn Medicine Hospice at giving.apps.upenn.edu or St Mark School, 1024 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007.
