John C. Wintermute

John C. "Jack" Wintermute passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Vitas Hospice at Nazareth Hospital. He was 74. Born in Doylestown, Pa., son of the late John and Julie Wintermute, he was a resident of Lambertville, NJ for many years and has resided in Levittown for the past 40 years. Mr. Wintermute was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam and received the Purple Heart Medal. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service, where he worked as a mail carrier. Mr. Wintermute enjoyed bowling and golf and played softball for the American Legion Team in Lambertville, NJ.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Wintermute, 3 children, John Michael Wintermute (Barbara), Leann Newman (Jake), and Anita Fleming (Brennen) and his grandchildren, Monica and Tanya Wintermute, Leah Newman and Rose, Roman, Levi and Wesley Fleming. He is also survived by 2 brothers, David Wintermute and Mark Wintermute (Kris) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson, Finn and his sister, Sandra Reside.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Wednesday evening, January 19, 2022, 7:30pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Friends may call 6:30-7:30pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held Thursday morning, January 20, 2022, 11:30am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pa. Please arrive at Cemetery by 11:15am.
