Johanna Brown-Radomski
Johanna Brown-Radomski passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at her home in Grundy Towers, Bristol. She was 93. Born in Berlin, Germany she immigrated to the United States in 1949, was a longtime resident of the Germantown section of Philadelphia and a Bristol Borough resident for the past 12 years. Johanna was proud to have worked at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital in Delaware County, as a medical assistant, Sun Oil Co. in Philadelphia, as a secretary and later volunteered at the Art Museum of Philadelphia and other local charities. She was a pleasant and outgoing person who enjoyed poetry, gardening, sewing and doing crafts and loved animals. Johanna relied on public transportation and always had a heartwarming or funny story about the people she met on her journeys. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandson.
Wife of the late Joseph Radomski, she is survived by her children: Katharine Hassler, Joseph Radomski, Jr., and Greta Radomski, her grandchildren: Amanda Moretti and her husband, Shawn, Kurt Hassler and Amy Hassler and her great-grandson: Zachary Moretti. She will also be missed by her longtime friends that she had in her life.
Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, a Funeral Mass and Interment will be held privately under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org.
