James Kenneth Armstrong
September 19, 1939 – October 4, 2024
James Kenneth Armstrong passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, October 4, 2024 at his home. He was 85. Born in Morristown, NJ, son of the late Kenneth and Ethel Clark Armstrong, he resided in Fallsington, PA for over 30 years and has been a Bristol Borough resident for the past 12 years. Mr. Armstrong was the owner of Armstrong Heating and Air Conditioning in Fallsington, PA for 40 years. He enjoyed sailing and golfing, was an active member of Fallsington United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir and played piano. Mr. Armstrong was also a member of the Falls Township Lions Club and served as a Falls Township Supervisor for 7 years.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Claire (nee Niewiadomski) Armstrong, and his children, Joseph Armstrong, Debra J. Tharp (Donald), Belinda L. Barnes (Paul) and Jeanann Porter (Tim). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brandy O'Neal (Gary), James Michael Sites (Amy), Kenneth W. Barnes, Chad V. Middleton, Andrew D. Barnes, Cheryl Holler, David Kenneth Armstrong, Christopher Armstrong, Andrew Armstrong, and Derek W. Tharp, along with 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, two sisters, Jane Wilson and Carol Cromwell, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Kenneth C. Armstrong, his sister, Phyllis Malloy, and his brother, Halsey Armstrong.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Thursday, October 10, 2024, 11:00am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, private. Friends may call Wednesday evening 6-8:00pm and Thursday morning 10-11:00am at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fallsington United Methodist Church, 50 Lacross Street, Fallsington, Pa 19054.

We are very sorry to hear about Jim but we just found out that he passed. Wish we could have said goodbye in person but we know Jim hears our prayers. He was a wonderful, kind person who cared about others. We send Clair and the family our condolences. Till we meet again Jim, rest in peace.
