December 27, 1956 - March 5, 2023

James (Jim) Gary Baker, 66, of Bristol, PA, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2023. Born in Levittown, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Julia (Gross) Baker. In his younger days, Jim worked many years for the Falls Township Sewer Department and volunteered with the Levittown #1 Fire Police. Jim was a kind, thoughtful, and gentle man. He took pride in caring for his four-legged best friends, Jewels, Ace, Diamond, and Tiger, who will be so lost without him. Jim liked watching MeTV and the Phillies, mowing his neighbors' lawns and reminding them to move their cars on street sweeping days, his daily walks in the neighborhood to Dollar General, and especially to Burger King on Whopper Wednesdays. He also enjoyed attending Bristol-sponsored events. He was a member of AA, and was proud to be 32 years sober.

He is survived by his sister, Lynne Brown (the late Fred), his brother, Ken Baker and his wife, Terri Anderson; his niece and caretaker with whom he resided, Theresa Simpson; many nieces and nephews that he cherished; and his friends, Rocky, Ed Czyzyk, Miguel Rodriguez, and John Little. He was predeceased by his loving niece, Heddi Bouffard.

Jim's family would like to thank Chandler Hall for their true compassion toward him and his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday evening, March 16, 2023 from 6:00PM until 6:45PM, at which time a Memorial Service will be held at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
