James D. Civitello, Jr.
June 18, 1958 - February 17, 2024
James D. Civitello, Jr. passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Jefferson Hospital, Bucks County. He was 65. Born in Abington, Pa, son of the late James, Sr. and Peggy Civitello, he lived in Trevose for many years and has been a Levittown resident for the past 20 years. James was employed for 43 years as an Engineer at Temple University. He was an avid fisherman, and was a handyman who could fix anything. He cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Zackowski Civitello, his children, Jim Civitello (Eva), Christina Civitello (Shaun), and Michele Civitello (Patrick). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Dylan, Aydan, Lily, and Lincoln, and his great-grandson, Houston. James is also survived by two brothers, Ken Civitello (Fran) and Mike Civitello, and one sister, Linda Simms (George), along with several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother, Harry Civitello.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with his family on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 10:00am until 12 Noon, followed by his Memorial Service at Noon at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association online at https://www.heart.org/ or by check at P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
