Henrietta "Sis" Zimmerman

Henrietta "Sis" Zimmerman (nee Martin) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Chandler Hall Hospice.  She was 95 years old. Born in Bristol, daughter of the late Edward and Anna Martin, she was a Bristol Township resident for 38 years and has resided in Langhorne for the past 21 years.  Mrs. Zimmerman was employed at Total Warehouse for 19 years prior to her retirement in 1995. She enjoyed bowling, watching movies and listening to music with her grandson, and staying in touch with her co-workers from Total Warehouse. She was a member of The Seasoned Travelers.

Wife of the late Charles Zimmerman, who passed away in 1986, and wife of the late Thomas Steinbrunn, who passed away in 1959, she is survived by her daughter, Margaret Roman, and her husband, Guy; her three sons, Thomas Steinbrunn, and his wife, Connie, Edward Steinbrunn (the late Diane), and William Zimmerman, and his wife, Carey; her eight grandchildren and her six great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Mary Winslow, Eleanor Ashton, and Dorothy Yoder; and her brothers, Edgar Tettemer, Eli Tettemer, who was killed in action in World War II, and Edward Martin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, 11am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough.  Interment, St. Mark Cemetery.  Friends may call Tuesday morning, 9-10:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.  Donations may be made to Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay St, Newtown, PA 18940 Attn: Philanthropy Dept.

I am so sorry to the family for your loss. Sis was a very special woman and appreciated everything. The smallest gesture (like a phone call) meant everything to her.
