Four decades ago, a beautiful baby boy emerged from the wound of Ana by cesarean section at 11:00am at Mercer Hospital. We named him Gregory Brian. Such a beautiful baby we nicknamed him ‘El Gordo’ for his boyish style. El Gordo had a normal upbringing and life. He attended catholic school, was a great voice to volunteer his Dad for all the projects at school. He helped deliver toys to Philadelphia school; he swung a hammer for the habitat project and many other projects, he always had a helping hand vision.

In high school, he tried different sports, nothing for nothing but Gregory was the model athlete as far as uniforms, equipment and spirits for the sport but not to successful on the results. He did try with all of his heart and energy, a true trooper without a medal. In our eyes he was always a winner.

Greg tookdifferent avenues in life and picked the one that made him a successful and happy individual, a Chef!  He attended an amazing four years living in Miami, his dream come true, giving Ana and I great memories of our monthly escape to visit Greg at school and be the testers of his cooking, unforgettable times.

Last few years in his downtime in the industry, he came back to his roots in New Jersey and became a construction worker, a trade that he learned easily and practiced until now.

Greg, was known in the family circle as Uncle Chunks, he was outgoing, a great communicator, and a comedian. Last year he participated in an open mic night and performed his comedy show.  He definitely made everyone laugh.

He left today from our family to join with the Lopez angels, forever in our hearts.  We have yet another Angel looking over us.   He will forever be missed by his parents, his best friend & sister , nieces and nephews and family and friends. We love you!!

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, February 8, 2020, from 1-3:00pm, with a Funeral Service at 3:00pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
