George John Day, Jr.
George John Day, Jr., born December 27, 1965, passed away on October 25, 2021. Adopted son of the late George J. Day, Sr. and Jessica Josephine Lancieri Day, he grew up in Bristol with his biological sister, Annamarie. George had many health issues throughout his life but was a very outgoing, fun person. Once you had met him, you never forgot him. He always had a joke to tell you. George was filled with pride when he became an uncle and then 20 years later a great-uncle!! He loved it. He was very well known in the Bristol community and would perform and play at the Bristol Wharf on Friday's during the Summer for so many years. George had such a love of music and Elvis but his love of the Dallas Cowboys always showed no matter where he was.
He is survived by his sister, Annamarie Day Smith and brother-in-law, David J. Smith, his niece, Jennifer Lee Vazquez, his nephew, Jonathan George Vazquez, his great-nieces, Brianna Cote and Alyssa Vazquez and great-nephews, Dominic Vazquez and Braydan Spinks. He is also survived by his last remaining aunt, Marcy Straub Lancieri and many cousins.
