Frank Bernard York

Frank Bernard York of Levittown died on December 5, 2020, at the age of 79. Frank was born into a military family on July 15, 1941, in Bristol, PA, and spent his early childhood across America and in post-war Berlin. His family resettled in Bristol and then Levittown, and Frank graduated from St. Mark Elementary School and Father Judge High School.

Frank was a longtime member of the International Union of Operating Engineers and was proud to have been a surveyor on projects up and down the East Coast, from the Betsy Ross to the Chesapeake Bay Bridges and the monorail at Busch Gardens. He was a master at remodeling and repairs and was enjoying passing on his skills to his grandchildren. Frank had an excellent appreciation for guitarists and was an avid concert-goer. He enjoyed cruises and restaurants and spending time with his friends and family.

Frank will be missed by his children, Karen (Jeffrey) Kelbaugh, Beth (Sean Casey) York, Brian (Danielle Oristian) York, and Maureen (Jon) Fioravanti, his grandchildren, Christopher and Tara Kelbaugh, Lowell Hoyt, Michael and Genevieve York, and Brandon and Ryan Fioravanti, and his sister-in-law, Gail York and many nieces and nephews. Frank is predeceased by his sister, Durry York and his brother John York.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service on Thursday, December 10, 2020, 12:30pm at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne. Masks are required. Arrangements are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
