Florence Tisone
Florence Anna (Longo) Tisone, 78, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at her home in Levittown, Pa where she resided for 54 years.
Ann, who also went by “Sis”, was born October 10th, 1943 in Lebanon, Pa to Dominic and Gladys (Ditzler) Longo. She graduated from Delhaas High School, Class of 1961. She went on to become a cosmetologist at Levittown Beauty Academy. She owned and operated Ann’s Beauty salon in Croydon for many years, where she made many lifelong friends. She was employed at JCPenney’s Salon (Langhorne)
and Face’s Hair Salon (Levittown). She retired in 2013, after almost 20 years from her position as a File Specialist with Prudential Life Insurance Company (Willow Grove). Ann was involved with her children’s bowling program at Tullytown Lanes. She was an avid NASCAR and NFL fan. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and she could always put a smile on your face with her unmistakable laugh. Entertaining during the holidays was her favorite. You never left hungry and had leftovers in hand.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. Tisone, Sr and parents, Dominic and Gladys Longo. She is survived by her daughters, Claudia (Petito) Barnada (Steven) and Rochelle (Tisone) Long and son, Anthony J Tisone, Jr. Her five grandchildren, Jason, Samantha and Nicole Barnada, Kaeden Long (Micah) and
Kaitlyn (Long) Helm (Dalen) and great grandson, Dawson Cole Helm. She is also survived by her brother, Dominic Longo Jr (Bunita) and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome to attend her Service on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 10:30am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery 830 Highland Road Newtown, Pa. Please arrive 15 minutes before time of service. We will also be wearing “happy” colors. Open house will be held at 29 Jolly Lane, Levittown, Pa beginning at 3:30pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
