Florence Santa-Maria

Florence Santa-Maria passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, August 29, 2024 after a massive stroke and courageous battle with cancer.  She was 83.  Born in Wilkes Barre, Pa, she was a Bristol Borough resident for the past 20 years.  She retired from Kmart after many years of service.  Florence will be remembered for her generosity and kindness, and was always there to help those in need.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Serra, her son, Frederick Santa-Maria, her step-daughters, Tina Serra, Diana Leonard Serra, Christine Serra, and Pauline Serra, and her grandchildren, Reese and RJ, along with her aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 7, 2024, 10am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough.  Interment, St. Mark Cemetery.  Friends may call 8:30-9:45am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org .
