Estrella Rivera

Estrella Rivera passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. She was 76 years old. Born in Puerto Rico, she has been a Bristol Borough resident for the past 49 years. She was employed as a cook at Bristol High School for many years prior to her retirement. Estrella was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and a devoted member of St. Mark’s Church. Estrella’s real passion was her family and friends. If you dropped by for a visit you were guaranteed a three-course meal, even if you weren’t hungry. She enjoyed tending to her garden and sewing small projects.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Roberto Rivera, her loving children, Samary Rivera and Robert Rivera Jr. and his wife, Laurel along with her grandchildren, Julia, Samantha, Bobby, Brendan, Owen, and Ryan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service on Thursday, May 13, 2021, 2:00pm at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pa.  Please arrive at Cemetery by 1:45pm.  Estrella’s Graveside Service will also be live streamed below, or at  www.wadefh.com/live-streaming  . Arrangements are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
